BKM series with servo motor is a helical hypoid geared motor series designed for precision motion control in robotics, CNC and automation. The hypoid gear set offsets the output shaft at 90°, gives higher single-stage ratio than a standard bevel gear, and runs smoothly at high input speed. Six frame sizes 050 to 130 cover 0.2–7.5 kW and up to 1500 Nm output torque, with two-stage ratios 7.5–60 at 92% efficiency and three-stage ratios 60–300 at 90% efficiency. Installation dimensions are fully compatible with the RV series worm gear reducers, so it can drop into an existing RV mount without redesigning the machine frame.
Six frame sizes cover the full power and torque range. Frame 050, 063, 075 and 090 use die-cast aluminium alloy housings that resist rust and shed heat. Frame 110 and 130 use cast iron housings for higher rigidity on heavy axes. Every housing is machined on a vertical machining centre in a single setup, so the bearing bore and the output shaft seat stay concentric.
BKM series with servo motor covers two gear stages. Choose the two-stage version for higher efficiency and faster output, and the three-stage version for higher ratios and heavier loads.

Three gear stages deliver higher ratios and heavier torque output. The three-stage version covers low-speed high-torque applications and is compatible with the same housing and mounting dimensions as the two-stage version.
BKM series with servo motor shares installation dimensions with the RV series worm gear reducers. This means an existing RV mount can accept a BKM unit without redesigning the machine frame, and a machine originally specified with RV can later be upgraded to BKM without changing the plate, the shaft or the coupling.
BKM and RV share the same mounting bolt pattern and output shaft position, so swapping one for the other is a bolt-on operation rather than a re-engineering job.
Every BKM unit is built around three quality decisions: the housing material, the gear material and the gear finishing process. These three determine service life and positioning stability on a servo axis.

Housings are machined on a vertical machining centre in a single setup. This keeps the bearing bore, the hypoid gear seat and the output shaft seat concentric, which protects positioning accuracy.
Gears are made from high-quality alloy steel, surface hardened and precision ground on gear grinding machines. Hard-faced gears give high wear resistance and stable backlash over a long service life.
