Helical-cut planetary gears run smoother and quieter than straight-cut alternatives, while the one-piece planet carrier holds alignment under high torque and frequent reversing. Standard ratios cover 3:1 to 100:1, with backlash options down to 3 arcmin for high-precision axes.
Single-stage BADR units cover 3:1 to 10:1. Two-stage units extend the range to 100:1. Higher ratios reduce output speed and multiply torque, which lets a smaller servo motor drive a heavier load without losing positioning accuracy.
