BABR precision planetary gear units are the high-rigidity tier of the Raydafon BAB family. Compared with the standard BAB unit, BABR uses a reinforced output bearing set and a wider planet carrier, so the output shaft resists tilting under heavy radial and axial load. This keeps the servo axis stable under reversing load, which is where standard planetary units lose positioning accuracy.
BABR shares the helical planetary gear mesh and lifetime synthetic grease of the BAB series, but adds three rigidity-focused changes: a wider output bearing, a thicker output flange, and a longer output shaft support. These changes raise the tilting stiffness of the output shaft, which is what most servo axes need when the load is offset from the motor axis.
The BAB family is split by rigidity and positioning accuracy. BAB is the standard precision tier. BABR is the high-rigidity precision tier. Choose BABR when the axis is under heavy reversing load or the load is offset from the motor axis.

Provide the driven load torque, inertia, radial and axial load, and whether the load is offset from the motor axis. Offset or reversing load is the trigger to choose BABR over BAB.
Provide the required output speed. Single-stage covers 3:1 to 10:1, two-stage covers 16:1 to 100:1. Higher ratio means more torque and lower output speed.
BABR precision backlash is ≤3 arcmin for single stage. If the axis needs lower backlash, choose the BAE tier. If the axis needs higher rigidity, choose BAF or BPG.
