Raydafon BRCF series helical gearbox is built around four basic specifications: type 01, 02, 03 and 04. Each type covers a different power and torque window, so the correct type can be selected directly from the load requirement without oversizing the frame. Rated power range is 0.12 to 4 kW and maximum output torque reaches 500 Nm. Speed ratio range is 3.66:1 to 54:1, giving fine step coverage for industrial axes. The housing is high-quality die-cast aluminium alloy machined on a vertical machining centre in a single setup to keep bearing bores and gear seats concentric. Gears are made of high-grade alloy steel, surface-hardened and precision-ground for quiet running and long service life. Both foot mounting and flange mounting are available. Used in industrial robots, general automation, CNC auxiliary axes, medical equipment, automotive assembly, printing, agriculture, food processing and warehouse logistics.

Build Quality and Construction
Four build decisions determine the performance and service life of a BRCF helical gearbox.
Die-Cast Aluminium Alloy Housing
The housing is made of high-quality aluminium alloy with die-cast construction for uniform wall thickness and natural rust resistance. This keeps the unit lightweight while protecting the internal gear mesh from moisture and contamination.
Single-Setup Vertical Machining
Housings are machined on a vertical machining centre in a single operation. This keeps the bearing bores, gear seats and output shaft seats concentric, giving excellent shape and positional tolerances across the whole housing.
Surface-Hardened Alloy Steel Gears
Gears are made of high-grade alloy material and surface-hardened to raise tooth surface strength. Hard-faced gears resist wear and shock load, which extends service life on continuous-duty and reversing axes.
Precision Gear Grinding
Gear teeth are finished on high-precision gear grinding machines after heat treatment. The ground tooth profile keeps backlash consistent and the mesh quiet at high input speed.
Two Mounting Configurations
BRCF supports foot mounting and flange mounting so the same gearbox can be fitted into different machine layouts without changing the internal design.
Foot Mounting
Base-mounted on a flat machine plate. Standard for conveyors, mixers and general industrial drives. Provides a stable footing and easy alignment with the driven shaft.
Flange Mounting
Flange on the output side bolts directly to the driven machine flange. Used when the gearbox must sit close to the load and the footprint must be kept compact.
Typical Applications

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about type selection, mounting, ratio range and OEM supply.
What is the difference between type 01, 02, 03 and 04 in the BRCF series?
The four types cover different power and torque windows within the BRCF family. Type 01 covers the smallest power range (about 0.12–0.55 kW). Type 02 covers the mid-small range (about 0.37–1.5 kW). Type 03 covers the mid-large range (about 0.75–2.2 kW). Type 04 covers the largest range in this family (about 1.5–4.0 kW, up to 500 Nm output). The correct type is chosen by first matching the required output torque, then confirming the power range and ratio.
What is the speed ratio range of the BRCF series?
The BRCF series covers a ratio range of 3.66:1 to 54:1. Smaller types are limited to about 25:1 or 40:1, and the largest type 04 covers up to 54:1. This gives fine step coverage for industrial drives that need precise output speed selection.
What housing material does BRCF use?
The BRCF series uses a high-quality die-cast aluminium alloy housing for all four types. Aluminium alloy gives natural rust resistance and good heat dissipation, and the housing is machined on a vertical machining centre in a single setup to keep the bearing bores and gear seats concentric.
What mounting configurations are available?
BRCF supports two mounting configurations: foot mounting for base-mounted installation on a machine plate, and flange mounting for direct bolt-on to a driven machine flange. Both use the same internal gearbox, so the mounting choice does not affect performance.
How are the gears made and finished?
Gears are made of high-grade alloy steel and surface-hardened to raise tooth surface strength. After heat treatment, gear teeth are finished on high-precision gear grinding machines. The ground tooth profile keeps backlash consistent and the mesh quiet at high input speed, which is important on continuous-duty and reversing axes.
What is the warranty period and OEM lead time?
We provide an 18-month warranty from shipment date covering manufacturing defects, with full technical support. Standard BRCF models are stocked; custom OEM orders typically ship within 25–35 working days after drawing confirmation.
